The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) and the visiting Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA), observed Granite Bay's basketball team overcome Vista del Lago by a margin of 52-33.
The Grizzlies (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA). The Raiders enter the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Rio Americano lost by Del Oro (Loomis, CA), 55-10, in a non-league match.
The Eagles now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Park for a non-league match on Monday, December 15. Vista del Lago will face a Panthers squad coming off a 40-28 non-league loss to Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-5.
