The Monterey Trail Mustangs held off the visiting Rio Linda Knights soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Yuba City for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 13. Monterey Trail will play a Honkers squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Waterford (Waterford, CA). The Honkers record now stands at 2-1.
