The Pioneer Mustangs basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting James Lick Comets to 21 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to San Jose for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. Pioneer will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 76-24 non-league loss to Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.

The Comets (0-5) will now prepare for their outing against Prospect (Saratoga, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Prospect was overwhelmed by Homestead (Cupertino, CA), 62-23, in a non-league outing.
