California High School Basketball - Salinas trounced by Palma

The Salinas Cowboys basketball squad (Salinas, CA), was crushed 62-41 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA)

With the victory, Palma advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA) to meet the Gators in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 20. The Gators enter the battle with a record of 3-0. Sacred Heart Prep won 58-53 in their recent non-league battle against Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA)

The Cowboys now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Gilroy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 16. Salinas will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 56-29 non-league loss to Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-2.
