Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) and the host Oldenburg Academy Twisters (Oldenburg, IN), saw Union County's basketball squad overcome Oldenburg Academy by a tally of 41-33.

With the victory, Union County improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to confront the Golden Falcons in a Tri-Eastern challenge on Friday, December 17. The Golden Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Winchester Community won 77-49 in their recent non-league challenge against South Adams (Berne, IN)

Next up, the Twisters confront the Rising Sun Shiners (Rising Sun, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 18. Oldenburg Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Shiners come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 73-54 non-league win over New Washington (New Washington, IN).
