In Tuesday's league outing, the Susquehanna Sabers (Susquehanna, PA) basketball squad beat the host Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA), by a margin of 47-28.
The Sabers (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Canton (Canton, PA). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Canton was beaten by Athens (Athens, PA), 66-44, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeland for a non-league outing on Friday, December 17. Western Wayne will clash with a Chiefs squad coming off a 68-41 non-league loss to Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-2.
