North Carolina High School Basketball - Wake Forest holds off Box Elder

December 14, 2022: Wake Forest, NC 27587

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC) and the visiting Box Elder Bees (Brigham City, UT), saw Wake Forest's basketball squad hold off Box Elder by a tally of 72-68.

With the victory, Wake Forest improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Green Level (Cary, NC) to confront the Gators in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. Green Level won 54-48 in their recent league challenge against Apex (Apex, NC)

Next up, the Bees confront the Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Box Elder will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 56-48 non-league win over Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC).
