Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sylvan Hills Bears (Sherwood, AR), 59-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bryant upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Fayetteville (Fayetteville, AR) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Fayetteville won 70-42 in their recent non-league bout against Forrest City (Forrest City, AR)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Parkview Patriots (Little Rock, AR) in a 5A Central bout, on Saturday, December 17. Sylvan Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 58-40 league win over ESTEM (Little Rock, AR).
