The Towanda Black Knights tipped the host Canton Warriors basketball team by a final score of 59-53 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Black Knights face the Mifflinburg Wildcats (Mifflinburg, PA) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 16. Towanda will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 77-69 non-league loss to Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA).

With the defeat, Canton moves to 0-2 on the year. The Warriors host Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA) to face the Panthers in a Northern Tier game on Friday, December 16.
