With the victory, Carencro upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bears host Church Point (Church Point, LA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 1-8.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Grand Lake Hornets (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Lacassine will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 52-31 non-league loss to Midland (Midland, LA).
