In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Carroll Bulldogs (Monroe, LA) basketball squad edged the host Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA), by a margin of 64-59.
The Bulldogs (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Ruston (Ruston, LA). The Bearcats go into the non-league outing with a 10-1 record. In their last outing, Ruston held off Arcadia (Arcadia, LA), 70-48, in a non-league outing.
The Cowboys now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host JS Clark Leadership Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 20. Southwood will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 55-39 non-league loss to Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.
