North Carolina High School Basketball - Cuthbertson edged by Queen's Grant

The Cuthbertson Cavaliers basketball team (Waxhaw, NC), was nudged 53-52 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC)

The Stallions now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Corvian Community for a 1A Conference 38 battle on Friday, December 16. Queen's Grant will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 68-26 league win over Apprentice Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-3.

The Cavaliers (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Ardrey Kell was tipped by Myers Park (Charlotte, NC), 79-47, in a league outing.
