Texas High School Basketball - Diboll over Shepherd

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Diboll Lumberjacks (Diboll, TX) and the host Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX), saw Diboll's basketball squad overcome Shepherd by a tally of 69-51.

With the victory, Diboll improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX) to confront the Blue Devils in a 3A Region III District 21 challenge on Friday, December 16. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Central Heights won 70-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Tatum (Tatum, TX)

Next up, the Pirates confront the Onalaska Wildcats (Onalaska, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 contest, on Friday, December 16. Shepherd will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 9-7 record after their 66-52 non-league win over Elkhart (Elkhart, TX).
