South Carolina High School Basketball - Georgetown trounced by Socastee

The Socastee Braves routed the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 71-50 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Braves face the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 16. Socastee will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Chiefs enter the game with a 3-3 record after their 48-40 non-league win over St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC).

With the defeat, Georgetown moves to 4-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC) to face the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, December 29. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 9-2.
