Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lunenburg Blue Knights (Lunenburg, MA), 58-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Groton-Dunstable upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Oakmont Regional won 85-51 in their recent league bout against Quabbin Regional (Barre, MA)

Next up, the Blue Knights play the Maynard Tigers (Maynard, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett C bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Lunenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 79-44 non-league win over Quabbin Regional (Barre, MA).
