Virginia High School Basketball - Nansemond-Suffolk Academy nipped by Veritas Collegiate Academy

The Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans tipped the visiting Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints basketball team by a final score of 61-56 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Christ Chapel Academy (Woodbridge, VA) in a VISAA Division III game, on Friday, December 16. Veritas Collegiate Academy will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The enter the game with a 2-4 record after their 87-76 league loss to Evergreen Christian (Leesburg, VA).

With the defeat, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy moves to 3-4 on the year. The Saints travel to St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA) to face the Saints in a non-league game on Saturday, December 17.
