In Wednesday's non-league outing, the CORE Butte Lynx (Chico, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Princeton Eagles (Princeton, CA), by a margin of 52-16.

The Lynx (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Biggs (Biggs, CA). The Wolverines go into the Mid-Valley outing with a 4-6 record.

The Eagles now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Herlong for a Pioneer outing on Tuesday, January 10.
