Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC) and the visiting KIPP College Prep Panthers (Washington, DC), saw Georgetown Day's basketball squad wallop KIPP College Prep by a tally of 56-24.

With the victory, Georgetown Day improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Mighty Hoppers host Flint Hill (Oakton, VA) to play the Huskies in a VISAA Division I challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Panthers play the DC International Dragons (Washington, DC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. KIPP College Prep will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 60-36 non-league win over Friendship Tech Prep Academy (Washington, DC).
