In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Harper Woods Pioneers (Harper Woods, MI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lake Shore Shorians (St. Clair Shores, MI), by a count of 58-18.

The Pioneers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI). The Ravens go into the Oakland - Red outing with a 2-1 record.

The Shorians now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Fraser for a Macomb Area - Blue outing on Friday, December 16. Lake Shore will clash with a Ramblers squad coming off a 54-31 league loss to Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI). The Ramblers record now stands at 6-1.
