In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Marian Mustangs (Bloomfield Hills, MI) basketball squad edged the host Lakeview Huskies (St. Clair Shores, MI), by a count of 48-44.
The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI). The Cavaliers go into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Carman-Ainsworth nipped Waverly (Lansing, MI), 63-25, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Huskies play the Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Lakeview will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 46-23 non-league win over L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI).
