The Warrior Run Defenders (Turbotville, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Line Mountain Eagles (Herndon, PA), 33-26 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Defenders (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA). The Bluejays go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Central Columbia got by Danville (Danville, PA), 52-20, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Greenwood for a Tri-Valley bout on Thursday, December 15. Line Mountain will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 50-18 league win over Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy (Boalsburg, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
