North Carolina High School Basketball - Willow Spring crushes Middle Creek

December 14, 2022: Apex, NC 27539

Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), 66-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Willow Spring upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Storm travel to South Garner (Garner, NC) to play the Titans in a 4A Conference 26 bout on Friday, December 16. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 4-3. South Garner won 72-37 in their recent non-league bout against Sanderson (Raleigh, NC)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC) in a 4A Conference 29 bout, on Friday, December 16. Middle Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 48-30 non-league loss to Broughton (Raleigh, NC).
