Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA), 47-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Carrollton upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-0. Langston Hughes won 60-18 in their recent league bout against Newnan (Newnan, GA)

Next up, the Tigers play the East Paulding Raiders (Dallas, GA) in a bout, on Friday, January 13. Douglas County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
