In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Clairemont Chieftains soccer squad scored a good 8-0 win over the Coastal Academy Stingrays.
The Chieftains (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Chula Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Chula Vista notched a victory over Crawford (San Diego, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Stingrays (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA). The Eagles go into the Ocean battle with a 1-2 record.
