Payton College Prep Grizzlies (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Austin College and Career Academy Tigers (Chicago, IL), 46-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Payton College Prep upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Grizzlies host Jones (Chicago, IL) to play the Eagles in a bout on Friday, December 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Jones won 37-31 in their recent league bout against Wells (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Raby Raiders (Chicago, IL) in a bout, on Friday, January 13. Austin College and Career Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
