Bonita Bearcats (La Verne, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Duarte Falcons (Duarte, CA), 80-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bonita upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Alta Loma (Alta Loma, CA) to play the Braves in a bout on Thursday, December 22. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Alta Loma won 53-19 in their recent non-league bout against Diamond Ranch (Pomona, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Duarte will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
