Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Claremont Wolfpack (Claremont, CA), 61-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Esperanza upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Charter Oak (Covina, CA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Wolfpack play the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 15. Claremont will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
