Hamilton Huskies (Chandler, AZ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ), 59-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hamilton upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Huskies host Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ) to play the Mountain Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Mountain Lions come into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Tigers play the Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Gilbert will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Pumas come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 47-43 league win over Chandler (Chandler, AZ).
