Averroes Falcon (Fremont, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hoopa Valley Warriors (Hoopa, CA), 53-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Averroes upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Falcon travel to Bentley (Lafayette, CA) to clash with the Phoenix in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Bentley lost 59-41 in their recent non-league bout against California Crosspoint (Hayward, CA)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Point Arena Pirates (Point Arena, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Hoopa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 86-43 non-league win over Round Valley (Covelo, CA).
