The Maxwell Panthers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Burney Raiders to 33 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chester for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Maxwell will battle a Volcanoes team coming off a 89-59 non-league win over Butte Valley (Dorris, CA). The Volcanoes record now stands at 6-0.
The Raiders (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Butte Valley (Dorris, CA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Butte Valley was routed by Chester (Chester, CA), 89-59, in a non-league contest.
