Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Canterbury Cougars (Fort Myers, FL) and the visiting North Fort Myers Red Knights (North Fort Myers, FL), saw Canterbury's basketball squad nip North Fort Myers by a margin of 51-46.

The Cougars (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL). The Vikings go into the 3A District 12 test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Bishop Verot got by LaBelle (LaBelle, FL), 70-41, in a non-league test.

The Red Knights now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lehigh for a non-league test on Friday, December 15. North Fort Myers will encounter a Lightning squad coming off a 72-51 non-league win over East Lee County (Lehigh Acres, FL). The Lightning record now stands at 4-1.
