The Kingsley-Pierson Panthers basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Cherokee Washington Braves to 44 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Sioux for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Kingsley-Pierson will meet a Falcons team coming off a 53-36 non-league loss to Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD). The Falcons record now stands at 0-5.

The Braves (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA). The Indians enter the Lakes contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Spirit Lake was nudged by Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA), 74-70, in a league contest.
