Whitmer Panthers (Toledo, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH), 90-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Whitmer upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Glenville (Cleveland, OH) to play the Tarblooders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Tarblooders go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Glenville won 64-16 in their recent league bout against Collinwood (Cleveland, OH)

Next up, the Eagles play the Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Clay will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 66-38 league loss to Findlay (Findlay, OH).
