New Mexico High School Basketball - Corona/Vaughn ripped by Mescalero Apache

The Mescalero Apache Chiefs basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Corona/Vaughn Cardinals to 21 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Chiefs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Escalante for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Mescalero Apache will meet a Lobos team coming off a 59-46 non-league win over Quemado (Quemado, NM). The Lobos record now stands at 2-1.

The Cardinals (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Chesterton Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record.
