Valley Vikings (Caledonia, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Crystal City Hornets (Crystal City, MO), 68-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Southern Reynolds (Ellington, MO) to play the Whippets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Whippets go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Southern Reynolds lost 65-31 in their recent non-league bout against Westwood Baptist Academy (Poplar Bluff, MO)

Next up, the Hornets play the Valley Park Hawks (Valley Park, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Crystal City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
