California High School Basketball - Wilcox edged by Cupertino

The Wilcox Chargers basketball squad (Santa Clara, CA), was tipped 56-54 in Thursday's non-league test with the visiting Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA)

The Pioneers (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Independence (San Jose, CA). The 76ers go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Independence got by San Mateo (San Mateo, CA), 50-41, in a non-league test.

The Chargers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Aptos for a non-league test on Monday, December 18. Wilcox will encounter a Mariners squad coming off a 58-35 non-league win over North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 5-2.
