The Kelly Trojans basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Gage Park Fighting Owls to 44 in the Trojans league victory on Thursday.

The Trojans now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chicago Washington for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Kelly will battle a Patriots team coming off a 70-60 non-league win over Whiting (Whiting, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 5-4.

The Fighting Owls (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hancock (Chicago, IL). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Hancock was nudged by Kennedy (Chicago, IL), 59-50, in a league contest.
