California High School Basketball - Gilroy overwhelmed by Pioneer

The Pioneer Mustangs basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Gilroy Mustangs to 20 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Live Oak for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Pioneer will battle a Acorns team coming off a 73-30 non-league win over James Lick (San Jose, CA). The Acorns record now stands at 2-5.

The Mustangs (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, San Lorenzo Valley triumphed over Kirby Prep (Santa Cruz, CA), 70-23, in a non-league contest.
