Karns Beavers (Knoxville, TN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hardin Valley Academy Hawks (Knoxville, TN), 53-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Karns upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Beavers travel to Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN) to clash with the Green Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Green Hornets go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Carter lost 46-37 in their recent non-league bout against Powell (Powell, TN)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Hardin Valley Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 69-56 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC).
