Hayden Lobos (Winkelman, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host San Manuel Miners (San Manuel, AZ), 77-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hayden upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Lobos host Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ) to play the Apaches in a 1A Copper bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Apaches go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Fort Thomas won 61-57 in their recent league bout against Joseph City (Joseph City, AZ)

Next up, the Miners play the Lourdes Catholic Warriors (Nogales, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. San Manuel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 72-24 non-league loss to Ray (Kearny, AZ).
