Highland Park Scots (St. Paul, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Two Rivers Warriors (Mendota Heights, MN), 69-67 in a league bout.

With the victory, Highland Park upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Scots host Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN) to play the Stars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Stars come into the bout with a record of 0-5.

Next up, the Warriors play the Mound-Westonka White Hawks (Mound, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Two Rivers will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The White Hawks come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 68-62 non-league loss to Minneapolis Southwest (Minneapolis, MN).
