The Unicorns enter the game with a 5-4 record after their 88-32 non-league win over Math & Science College Preparatory (Los Angeles, CA).

With the defeat, Portola moves to 3-10 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Cajon (San Bernardino, CA) to face the Cowboys in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 27. The Cowboys enter the game with a record of 3-7. Cajon lost 51-40 in their recent non-league game against Sonora (La Habra, CA)
