The McIntosh Tigers (McIntosh, SD) basketball felled the visiting Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD), 58-42 in Thursday's league test.
The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record.
The Irrigators now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oelrichs for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Newell will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 48-45 non-league loss to Takini (Howes, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.
