Illinois High School Basketball - Stark County can't hold off Midland

The Midland Timberwolves basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Stark County Rebels to 53 in the Timberwolves non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Timberwolves now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Seneca for a Tri-County bout on Friday, December 15. Midland will play a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 60-55 non-league win over Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 6-1.
Next up, the Rebels play the Elmwood Trojans (Elmwood, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Stark County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 43-28 non-league win over Havana (Havana, IL).
