The Mountain Valley Falcons basketball team (Rumford, ME), dropped 54-39 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME)
The Mustangs now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Hill for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 16. Monmouth Academy will confront a Raiders team coming off a 35-26 non-league loss to Madison (Madison, ME). The Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
The Falcons (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Abram (Strong, ME). The Roadrunners come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Mount Abram beat Maranacook (Readfield, ME), 68-64, in a non-league battle.
