New Mexico High School Basketball - Navajo Pine can't hold off Wingate

The Wingate Bears basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Navajo Pine Warriors to 48 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bears now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aztec for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Wingate will battle a Tigers team coming off a 61-56 non-league win over Zuni (Zuni, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.
The Warriors (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Zuni (Zuni, NM). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Zuni was nudged by Aztec (Aztec, NM), 61-56, in a non-league contest.
