Minnesota High School Basketball - New London-Spicer thwarts Redwood Valley

The New London-Spicer Wildcats (New London, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Redwood Valley Cardinals (Redwood Falls, MN), 69-59 in Thursday's league test.
The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Montevideo (Montevideo, MN). The Thunderhawks go into the AA Section 3 test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Montevideo notched a victory over Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN), 81-25, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Luverne for a AA Section 3 test on Friday, December 15. Redwood Valley will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 68-47 league win over Jackson County Central (Jackson, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-4.
