In Thursday's non-league outing, the Roosevelt Roughriders (Portland, OR) basketball squad nipped the host Summit Storm (Bend, OR), by a margin of 54-48.
The Roughriders (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Oregon City (Oregon City, OR). The Pioneers go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Oregon City got by Nelson (Happy Valley, OR), 68-65, in a non-league outing.
The Storm now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Grant for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 19. Summit will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 60-43 non-league win over Parkrose (Portland, OR). The Generals record now stands at 3-2.
