The Willingboro Chimeras basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host STEMCivics to 54 in the Chimeras non-league victory on Thursday.
The Chimeras now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nottingham for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Willingboro will battle a Northstars team coming off a 71-69 league win over West Windsor-Plainsboro North (Plainsboro, NJ). The Northstars record now stands at 1-0.
The (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Pennsauken Tech (Pennsauken, NJ). The come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Pennsauken Tech was nudged by Camden County Vo-Tech (Sicklerville, NJ), 58-30, in a non-league contest.
