Monterey Dores (Monterey, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rancho San Juan Trailblazers (Salinas, CA), 63-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Monterey upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Dores host Salinas (Salinas, CA) to play the Cowboys in a bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Cowboys come into the bout with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Trailblazers play the Seaside Spartans (Seaside, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Rancho San Juan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
